General Description of the Role:
Construction in GOAL projects includes, but is not limited to, clinics, rakubas for nutrition and REFLECT circles, water yards and office improvements. The Roving Construction Manager will work with the field-based construction staff and help provide quality designs and BOQs review construction contracts. ensure that all designs are in line with national and GOAL standards undertake environmental impact assessment, help supervise ongoing construction works, and inspect completed construction works,
Ensure all constructs works are carried out in a timely and effective manner and are of high quality in line with national and GOAL standards.
Requirements:
• Degree or equivalent in Civil/ Structural Engineering or Construction Management
• 5 years minimum experience of site management of contractors on medium sized construction projects Involving Reinforced Concrete frames and Steel Framed Buildings to accepted Sudanese standards
• Experience with managing labour and programming site operations and sequences
• Experience of financial control of construction projects
• Proficient use of computer packages such as AutoCAD, Microsoft Project/ Primavera, Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel
• Fluent English and Arabic spoken and written.

General Description of the Role:
Construction in GOAL projects includes, but is not limited to, clinics, rakubas for nutrition and REFLECT circles, water yards and office improvements. The Roving Construction Manager will work with the field-based construction staff and help provide quality designs and BOQs review construction contracts. ensure that all designs are in line with national and GOAL standards undertake environmental impact assessment, help supervise ongoing construction works, and inspect completed construction works,
Ensure all constructs works are carried out in a timely and effective manner and are of high quality in line with national and GOAL standards.
Requirements:
• Degree or equivalent in Civil/ Structural Engineering or Construction Management
• 5 years minimum experience of site management of contractors on medium sized construction projects Involving Reinforced Concrete frames and Steel Framed Buildings to accepted Sudanese standards
• Experience with managing labour and programming site operations and sequences
• Experience of financial control of construction projects
• Proficient use of computer packages such as AutoCAD, Microsoft Project/ Primavera, Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel
• Fluent English and Arabic spoken and written.
