Foreign purchasing specialist
Job Summary:
Following up & executing all foreign purchasing activities.
Duties & Responsibilities:
¨ Prepares and follows up the L/C, L/G, P. orders, the transfers, the banking and deliveries.
¨ Follows up the insurance of the purchased material.
¨ Renews the import license.
¨ Organizes, follows and implements the processes and activities related to foreign purchasing and imports.
¨ Monitor the performance of foreign suppliers through the performance monitoring form.
¨ Follow up all the processes of foreign purchasing starting with receiving the purchase request from w/h clerk, issue P. order up to receive the goods in our w/h including the customs clearance of goods at the arrival port with the coordination of customs broker.
¨ Issue and follow up suppliers claim report.
¨ Applies safety & cleanliness instructions in accordance with the company safety policy.
¨ Performs other required relevant tasks assigned by the superior/ department manager.
¨ Achieves all the related tasks in the departmental action plan.
Qualifications:
Ö College degree.
Ö (2-5) years experience in a relevant field.
Ö Perfect command of Microsoft Word & Excel.
Ö Excellent command of English language.
