Required IT Buyer
Leading Trading and Transportation companies based in Al Khobar are looking out for a Buyer for their corporate office :
Tasks:
·         Plan, organize and control the purchasing (specific commodities), receiving and storage of all
items required.
·         Ensure the procurement of required products and items at the best possible rate without compromise on quality.
·         Directly liaise with suppliers to ensure that items ordered and delivered in a timely manner.
·         Raise necessary LPO's, negotiate prices, schedule deliveries, storing and issuing of items as per requirements.
·         Verify all invoices received from suppliers and ensure prices are correct as per (LPO).
·         Sorts and places inventory in storage areas, shelves or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, or product code.
Ensure stores records are accurately maintained and up to date, including Goods Received Notes, Letter of purchase Order, and Internal Requisitions, Variance Reports, Stock Take.
·         Keeps records of materials or items received or distributed in accordance with established procedure.
·         Ensure that all items delivered to the client are received and checked to include; quantity, quality, accuracy and correct brands as per Letter of Purchase Offer (LPO).
·         Reorders all stocked items that are issued out to various locations.
·         Makes daily data entries for accurate inventory controls including receiving and disposal functions.
·         Maintain weekly cycle counts of all stocked items.
·         Ensure regular month end stock taking exercise and all items are accounted and the same is passed on to the Finance unit.
·         Maintain control of stock holding to ensure availability of all required items.
·         Generate Purchase Requisitions for all stocked items that are at minimum, or below reorder point.
·         Ensure that all related stores areas are maintained according to the minimum standards laid down by the Municipality.
·         Lead and supervise a small team of Stores Assistants ensuring they have a uniformed workload and that they are motivated.

Skills:
·         2 to 4 years experience.
·         A thorough knowledge of stores, stocks and inventory procedures and controls, including computerized inventory control systems and procedures.
·         Strong negotiation skills
·         Must be fluent in English
·         Arabic will be an added advantage
·         Transferable iqama
