Senior Executive, Legal Counsel

Position Tile: Senior Executive, Legal Counsel
Reporting to : Senior Manager, Legal Counsel

Key responsibilities of the role include:
1-      Provide legal advice and solutions on all aspects of Company's
business operations and interests. Identify, evaluate mitigate legal
exposures and risks including commercial risks affecting Company's
projects, upstream and downstream operations.
2-      Advice, develop, review, negotiate and conclude all contractual
dealings with joint venture partners, contractors and financiers
ensuring Company's interests are well protected with maximum value
impact to the Company.
3-      Act as the Company Secretary and provide secretarial services and
obligations to joint venture companies in which Company has interests,
ensuring corporate governance practices and regulatory compliances in
all aspects of the business. Advise Management and Board of Directors
on legal and regulatory requirements. Act as the custodian of the
Company's corporate information.
4-      Develop and advise on negotiation strategies and tactics and where
necessary, lead/participate in negotiations, ensuring maximum
safeguarding of Company’s interests and alignment with the Company's
goals and objectives.
5-      Establish, maintain and manage relationship with joint venture
partners, contractors, external counsels and other parties that are
involved in all aspects of the Company's projects. Require and
effective role for a well structured and organized meetings and
negotiations to achieve a compromise, which is acceptable by all the
parties concerned.
6-      Provide guidance to internal stakeholders in resolving complex
legal and commercial issues by continuously research, keeping abreast
with global practices and seeking expert views and advice from
external counsels to ensure maximum protection of Company's
interests.

Other Qualifications:
•       Bachelor Degree in Low is a must
•       6 Years Experience in the same field
•       English Fluent speaking and writing
